Celebrity Tyler Florence's Wayfare Tavern is a fun place with some great food. Reservations are recommended as the place is always bustling with energy and happy food junkies. We were fortunate and got a nice table in front of the fireplace that warmed our senses from the rainy day weather. A variety of interesting appetizers and oysters fill this menu full of love. We tried the deviled eggs which were old bay yolks, bread and butter pickles celery and gulf shrimp that were different and delicious. 6 of them were served which made it more than enough to share.
For the entree, we shared the Wayfare Burger. It was a good idea as it was a very large burger with grass fed proprietary grind, marin brie, roasted onion, smoked bacon, and brioche with sunny side up poached eggs. We also tried the french fried kennebec potatoes with parsley and salt that were very tasty.
Many sugar sensations are offered for dessert but we passed on these treats. A billiard room that can be converted into a private room for 14 is also available for events.
